Skulptur föreställande barnfigur hållandes en viola da gamba. Huvudet är vridet något åt vänster och aningen nedåtböjt. Kroppstyngden vilar på vänster ben som är dolt bakom det stora instrumentet, medan höger ben är böjt. Utmed höger sida skymtar en mantel. Ovanför hjässan syns en något snedställd äggstavslist. Figuren står på ett minimalt underlag som troligen avser att föreställa ett stycke naturlig mark. Skulpturens baksida är slät. Skulpturen är kraftigt sliten. Höger underarm är bruten. Text in English: This is a sculpture of a child playing a viola da gamba. The head is turned slightly to the left and is a trifle bowed. The weight of the body rests on the left leg which is hidden behind the large instrument, while the right is bent. A mantle or cloak is on the figure''s right side. Just above the head, the back board comes forward at a right angle and the front of the board is decorated with an egg moulding design. The figure stands upon a small flat plinth. The back of the sculpture is smooth. The right forearm is broken and the sculpture is very worn.
