Skulpturen återger en mansfigur i klassisk nakenhet med en lejonhud draperad på huvudet och utmed ryggen. Lejonets framben hänger ner över mannens axlar och lejontassarna når ned på magen. Vid fötterna skymtar lejonets svanstofs. Med höger arm som hålls utmed sidan och vänster arm vinkelrätt böjd över bröstet håller figuren en lång klubba. Kroppen är svagt spiralformad och kroppstyngden vilar på vänster ben, medan höger ben är något böjt. Huvudet med det grovhuggna ansiktet och med sina smala, långsträckta mustascher och krokiga näsa är en aning böjt mot vänster. Skulpturen är snidad i ett med det profilsvängda bakstycket, som i höjd med figurens nacke bryter av snett uppåt i vinkel och täcker skulpturens hjässa. Figuren står på en enkelt ornerad, kraftig sockel eller postament med trekantig, kilformig profil. Text in English: Sculpture of a naked man with a lion''s skin draped over his head and back. The lion''s fore legs hang over the man''s shoulders, the paws at his stomach. The tuft of the lion''s tail is glimpsed at the figure''s feet. With his right arm at his side and his left across his chest at right angles, the man holds a club. His body is slightly twisted and the weight rests on the left leg while the right leg is slightly bent at the knee. The features of the face are rugged, the nose crooked and there is a long, thin moustache on the upper lip. The head is slightly bowed to the left. The sculpture is carved with a curved reverse side with angles at the neck and continues above to cover the top of the head. The figure stands on a robust base or foot with a three-sided, wedge-shaped profile, simply ornamented.
