Krigare iklädd romersk rustning samt plymagerad hjälm. Mannen har långt hår och mustascher. Huvudet är vridet något åt höger. Tvärs över bröstet, från vänster axel, går ett smalt svärdsgehäng format till en knut vid vänster höft. Rustningens nederdel består av olika stora flikar. I vänster hand håller krigaren en profilerad sköld som ursprungligen vilat mot underlaget. Kroppstyngden förefaller vila på höger ben. Vänster ben är något böjt. Benen är stövelklädda. Skulpturen och bakstycket är snidade i ett stycke. Armarna, varav en saknas, är snidade separat och har suttit fästade vid bålen med dymlingar. Bakstycket är profilsvängt och baksidan är slät. Nedtill är bakstycket framdraget så att det bildas en kraftig sockel på vilken figuren står. Sockeln är enkelt ornerad på sidorna. Bakstyckets övre del fortsätter snett uppåt och bildar en bred platta ovanför krigarens huvud. Skulpturen är tämligen nött och sliten. Höger arm saknas. Sköldens nedre parti är fragmentarisk. Running from the left shoulder across the chest is a narrow sword belt, tied in a knot at the right hip. The lower section of the armour consists of flaps of varying size. In the left hand the warrior holds a profiled shield, which originally rested on the base. The weight of the body appears to rest on the right foot. The left leg is slightly bent. the figure is wearing boots. The sculpture is carved from a single piece of wood, except for the arms which are carved separately and attached to the trunk with dowels. The figure is placed in front of a profiled back-board, with a smooth reverse side, which is drawn forward at the bottom to form a robust base upon which the figure stands. The base is simply ornamented on the sides. At the top the back-board continues above the heads to form a wide plate-like section over the warriors'' head. The sculpture has suffered considerable damage and is severely worn. The right arm is missing. The lower section of the shield is fragmentary.
