Krigare iklädd romersk rustning samt bredbrättad, plymagerad hatt. Mannen har långa mustascher och kort lockigt skägg. Huvudet är vridet mot vänster och bakåtböjt med blicken riktad uppåt. Rustningens nederdel består av ett undre lager av stora, rektangulära flikar över tunikan samt ett lager med mindre - omväxlande med små - avrundade flikar. Kring det släta bältet finns ett smalt band i liggande S-form. Armarna, varav en saknas, är snidade separat. Den nu saknade högerhanden har troligtvis hållit ett blåsinstrument. I vänster hand håller figuren en lång fackla. Skulpturens tår, som snidats separat, saknas. Kroppstyngden vilar på vänster ben medan höger ben är böjt. Skulpturens sockel är reducerad till en liten ståplatta som inte ger plats för hela foten. Skulpturen är relativt välbevarad. The head is turned to the left and tilted slightly back, with the line of vision aimed upward. There is a waist belt. The arms were carved separately. The right arm is missing, along with the hand; it would probably have held a wind instrument. In his left hand the figure holds a long torch. The toe sections of the feet were also separately carved and are missing. The weight of the body rests on the left foot while the right leg is bent. The base of the sculpture is reduced to a small insignificant standing surface which does not provide sufficient room for the whole foot. The sculpture is rather well preserved.
