Krigare iklädd romersk rustning samt bredbrättad, plymförsedd hatt. Mannen har stort, lockigt skägg och långsmala mustascher. Huvudet är vridet något åt höger. Rustningens nederdel förefaller utgöras av en veckrik, kjolliknande klädnad av tyg. I höger hand håller mannen en lur med mynningen riktad nedåt. Luren är avbruten upptill varför det ej går att avgöra om konstnären avsett att framställa figuren som blåsande i instrumentet. I vänster hand håller mannen en brinnande lampa i form av en kruka med stor eldslåga. Ytterdelarna av armen saknas, liksom främre delen av vänster fot. Kroppstyngden vilar på höger fot medan vänster är kraftigt böjt. Skulpturens sockel är reducerad till en liten ståplatta som inte ger plats för hela foten. The warrior holds a horn in his right hand with the bell or trumpeting end downward; it is broken at the top and it is therefore impossible to confirm whether the artist had intended to show the figure blowing the instrument or not. The man holds a burning pottery lamp in his left hand; it has a high flame. The outer sections of the arm have fallen off along with the toe section of the left foot. In his left hand there is a torch with damaged flame. The weight of the body rests on the right foot while the left is placed a little to the side. The base of the sculpture is reduced to a small insignificant standing surface which does not provide sufficient room for the whole foot.
