Wooden sculpture in a high relief depicting the great coat of arms during the Palatinate era, though with great aberrations in the coloration. The coat of arms is crowned and surrounded by two lion supporters. The background is made up of trophy groups. The whole sculpture is probably secondarily painted. Coat of arms: Blue main shield, squared. Normally the fields are separated by a golden cross but there is no trace. The crest of the family has the wrong colours when the waves are red instead of silver in colour and the lion brown instead of golden. The Heart Shield Petitions the Palatinate Weapons- In the Middle the Palatinate Lion which is to be golden on black fields. Behind, the coat of arms of Bavaria is seen to be silver and blue, the coat of arms of Jülich to be a black lion on golden fields, the coat of arms of Klev to be a silver shield with golden lilies on red fields, and the coat of arms of Berg to be a red lion with a blue crown on silver fields. Damage: Three longitudinal, large cracks in the wood. The crown over the coat of arms is finely carved with remnants of light color. Red and black pearls and jewels. The Globe lacks its cross. Old warehouses of lost wood. Lion supporters: Left lion portrayed a face and right in profile. Fine carved fur and man. Background: Trophy Groups consisting of stands, fanas, pilkogs, pistols, harnesque and helmet with plume, fire pipes, anchors, hoists and cannonballs. The sculpture is attached with rough, hand-forged nails against a background of thick planks. In its places the carving is very thin and there are also spaces where the planks are visible.
