Velia (1919-1944) was a Bulgarian poet, editor of the student upswing newspaper, actress. He is the daughter of Grigor Vasilev, a lawyer, MP, politician of the Democratic Party. Merry Vasileva died tragically in Vienna, Austria. Merry Vasileva in the production of Marriage by N.C. Gogol, Koprivshtitsa, 1937.
