The picture is published in Upsala New Newspaper 1 April 1949 with the following caption [in excerpts]: "Establishment for Flora Svecica. When the new town library in Upsala was completed some years ago, the plans also included the decoration of the facade with an artistic sculpture, a portal piece. Professor Eric Grate also made a proposal to this effect, a senior lief he called Flora Svecica, a young naked woman stretched on a flower meadow. [..
