Latin text below from Matthew 27. On the road to Golgotha, two soldiers with clubs compel Simon of Cyrene to help the bound Jesus carry the cross. A crowd of soldiers, officials on horseback follow. Jesus' mother Mary and a group of women are visible at the back of the crowd.
