Hand coloured stereo view, known in the collection as one of 'The Show Girls'. Half-length portrait of a young woman standing and resting her right elbow and left hand on a table covered with a red table cloth. She wears a ring on her right hand, which clutches the necklace she wears around her neck. She also wears earrings. The ring, necklace and earrings have the brilliance effect. Her hair is worn in a middle parting with plaited side buns. The low neckline of her dress and short sleeves are trimmed with fur. Plain background.

Half length portrait of a seated young girl. She wears a dress with elbow length under-sleeves. In both hands she holds an open book in her lap. She wears her hair in a middle parting with tight curls around her hairline. Plain background. Plate set into black Japanned frame, with gold coloured sight edge. Suspension loop intact, attached to the frame with a leaf and flower decorated mechanism.

This entry relates to the left image: Mrs Louisa Baigent, nee Croome, born in London, England on 1800 to James Croome and Jane. Louisa married Richard Baigent and had 8 children.
