Half length portrait of a sitting, middle aged woman wearing a lace bonnet. Part of an antique chair can also be seen.

Younger son of Frederick Solly Flood of Slaney Lodge, born in 1832. He served in the Royal Navy on board HMS Amphion, was promoted to Lieutenant on the 3rd June 1856 (information from http://www.pbenyon.plus.com/Nbd/exec/F/Index.html) and died on the 23rd of February 1862. He is buried in Gibraltar.
