All workers were vacant and gathered at the gate of the factory and followed the dust to the church. After the funeral service, they went to Kåhögen for further transport with the train to Olskroken. On the train there was William Bogren who informed the train’s ticket controller about who would not pay. After the burial in the Eastern Cemetery, those who so wished were allowed to enter the center. Maggie Hansson In 1900, telling this year 1997, his sister had accommodation in Olskroken and preferred to stay there. See 06001 & 06007 fields. Jonsered’s church is a so-called utility church. It has thus not been built through the parish, but has been created on a private initiative. The Scot William Gibson who, in 1833, began Jonsered’s industrialization seriously, earning in his and his wife’s will money for church construction. The church was consecrated in 1860.
