Written on the back: Imminent photograph reproduces an oil painting on canvas size 29 x50.5 cm. signed down to the right “Grimelund” and to the left inscribed with colour “Gullholmen 21/7 75” The painting is a healthy natural study of the Norwegian painter J.M. Grimelund born in 1882, died 1917. This Norwegian painter, represented in the Luxembourg Museum and in the National Gallery in Oslo and Bergen’s Faste Billedgallery, enjoys good reputation as an artist in his native country.
