Glass sculpture “Crystal Castle.” Stilized castle with a thaw and tower in three etages. Moulded, cab-worked, free-blown, sanded. The top platform spire is mounted on a glass plate that is brackish. (This does not affect construction or appearance. 2010-01-21). Clear glass. The subject has been in L. Hellsten’s possession in Nybro until 2009. Other: The Crystal Castle is among the first L.H. made on Skruf’s glass mill. He was inspired by the hut environment, which he thought was like a fairytale landscape. There are three castles, one at Smålands Museum, one at Nationalmuseum and one at Röhsska Museet. Function: Glass sculpture
