The figure carved out of mottled yellowish green stone has a woman’s upper body and a fish tail. Her hair is long and the two strands of hair that Sedna holds in her hands resemble fish fins. The features of her face as well as her hands and the details of her tail and hair have been carefully carved. The stone has been polished. The tail has cracked and been mended with glue.
