fyysinen kuvaus: Basalttikivestä tehty veistos, joka esittää vesilintua (a). Linnun mukana on erillinen pesä (b), johon veistoksen voi asettaa. Lintuveistos ja pesä ovat samaa tummaa painavaa kiveä. Lintu on tyylikkäästi muotoiltu, se esittää luultavasti kuikkaa. Kuikka kääntää päätään taaksepäin. Koko veistos on sileäksi työstetty, ainoa yksityiskohta on kaiverretut silmät. Pesä on pyöreähkö kivi, johon on veistetty syvennys ja siihen kiinnitetty heinänkorsia. Sculpture of basalt stone depicting a waterfowl (a). There is a separate nest which serves as a foundation for the bird sculpture (b). Both bird and nest are made of the same heavy stone. The bird’s elegant shape probably depicts a loon. The loon is turning its head backwards. The entire sculpture is smooth, the only detail is the eyes carved as holes. The nest is a round piece of stone hollowed out in the middle and with some dry straws attached.
