fyysinen kuvaus: Veistos, Meren emäntä. Vanhasta kovettuneesta ja hieman tummuneesta valaanluusta veistetty hahmo. Sednalla on pyöreä pää ja veistetyt kasvonpiirteet, toinen käsivarsi on nostettu koskettamaan kasvoja, toinen käsivarsi on vartalon sivulla, ja voimakas keho on kaarella pyrstö kohotettuna. Käsiin ja pyrstöön on veistetty samat yksityiskohdat, muuten keho on sileä. A sculpture, Sedna. The figure has been carved from a piece of weathered whale bone that has hardened and is somewhat darkened. Sedna’s head is round and her facial features carved, she lifts her arm up to touch her face, the other arm is along her massive body which arches into the raised fish tail. The hands and fishtail are carved with similar details, otherwise the body is just polished.
