fyysinen kuvaus: Basalttikivestä tehty veistos, joka esittää ihmispäistä pöllöä. Miehen päähän on veistetty huolellisesti piirteet ja puolipitkät hiukset. Pöllön keho on sileäksi hiottu, vain siipien reuna ja jalat on hahmoteltu. Kivessä on takana kullanväristä kiillettä, joka on jätetty kiveen ilmeisesti kuvaamaan tunturipöllön siipien tummaa pilkutusta. Sculpture of basalt stone depicting an owl with a man’s head. The man’s head has been carved in detail showing the features of the face and the shoulder-length hair. The owl’s body has been polished smooth with only the profile of the wings and feet worked out. There is golden mica at the back and apparently the artist has chosen to place it to remind of the dark scalloping on the snowy owl’s back.
