fyysinen kuvaus: Veistos basaltista, pinta jätetty käsittelemättä. Yhdestä kivestä veistetty teos esittää inuittiäitiä, joka istuu polvillaan maassa. Äidin selkäpuolella on isoin lapsi, olkapäällä kiipeää keskimmäinen ja polvilla on kuopus. Vain kasvoihin on veistetty yksityiskohtia, vartaloiden muodot on veistetty siten, että kaikki perheenjäsenet ovat kuin yhteen liittyneinä, samaa kiveä. The sculpture is made of unpolished basalt stone. It depicts an Inuit mother kneeling down. Her eldest child is clinging to her back, the second child is climbing up her shoulder and her youngest one holds on to her knees. Only the faces have been carved with some details, the bodies are carved to show the family partly joined, as if made of the same stone.
