fyysinen kuvaus: Veistos, ihmisen pää. Pala valaan kylkiluun paksummasta päästä on veistetty ihmispääksi. Kylkiluun sivuun on veistetty miehen kasvot ja loppuosa jätetty kaulaksi, luunpäästä on tehty päälaki. Kasvoissa on korostettu hiusrajaa, leukaa ja nenää; suu on tehty avonaiseksi, silmät pelkästään kaivertamalla ääriviivat, korvia ei ole tehty lainkaan. Luuaines on selvästi hyvin vanhaa ja rannalla lojunutta: valasöljyn siihen jättämät läikät ovat ehtineet tummua, luun huokoinen osa alkanut haurastua ja sileä pinta kovettua. The hairline, jaw and nose have been emphasized, the mouth carved open, but the eyes only given as incised outlines, and there are no ears. The bone is clearly quite old and weathered: the whale oil stains have begun to darken, the porous part of the bone has become fragile and the smooth surface has hardened. The serious crack at the neck has occurred after the sculpture was completed.
