fyysinen kuvaus: Veistos on melko kovaa harmaata kiveä, basalttia, jonka pintaa ei ole kiillotettu tai käsitelty. Teos kuvaa kyykyssä istuvaa äitiä, jonka selkäpuolella seisoo lapsi. Hahmoilla on pyöreät päät ja kehokin on pyöreäksi muotoiltu. Taiteilija on raaputtanut silmien ja suiden ääriviivat ja hahmotellut käsineeseen peukaloa, mutta jättänyt muuten yksityiskohdat pois. The sculpture is of grey fairly hard stone, basalt, with an unpolished and unfinished surface. The sculpture depicts a mother sitting in a kneeling position with her child standing close to her back. Both figures have round heads and also their bodies are shaped in round forms. The artist has scratched the outlines for eyes and mouths and shaped the thumbs on the mittens, but left otherwise any details out.
