Painted folding vase with ivory legs, of which the visible part is worked àjour and partly in gilt silver, motives: garlands, vases, baskets with fruit, putti and medallions with heads.´On the front against a blue and gold striped background three fields and four medallions surrounded by garlands of flowers. In the centre, in an octagonal field, a lady in a pink gown decorated with lace is seated in a wooded room, playing with a small green parrot. To the left and right, oval medallions depicting a boy and a girl with a turned lyre in brown against a green background. \Below two round medallions with two doves and a quiver and torch in purple on light blue. To the left a larger field with a rocaille frame, with a young couple in theatrical costume in a landscape near an altar of love, on which above a fire are two hearts and a crown; next to them on a cloud Amor with a torch and bow and arrow to the right an equal field with rural scene; country songs filling pitchers near a large wine cask and a dancing couple, in the background a double gate.\Across the entire back panel a romantic landscape; in the center a wall ruin, in front of which a man with a stick; along top and sides floral garlands and rocaille volutes in gold and red.
