Basic fabric: white factory cotton in linen weave. Decoration consists of fine stripes (additional weft threads of factory cotton and hand-spun with caracol dyed cotton). Fringes in warp direction: loosely cut, otherwise unworked; the fringes in weft direction consist of woven threads protruding outside the fabric.‖ Such cloths were used to wrap offerings to the dead - small tortillas, cocoa beans and a small gourd of water.
