Choir stalls from the 17th century in the presbytery of the church of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary - Chełmno parish church. with images of Polish and Pomeranian saints and blesseds.The founder of the temple was the Teutonic Order (information in the foundation document from 1233). It is a three-nave hall with a rectangular chancel. The northern tower of the church was completed in 1501, but the work on the southern tower was not completed. The church was regothised in the years 1883-84 and 1925-28.The church has a high-class gothic sculptural decor, which consists of figures of the apostles at the pillars and vault keystones. There are also valuable frescos from the end of the 14th century. In the northern aisle there is a Gothic tombstone of Lambert Longus from 1319. The furnishings of the church are baroque and rococo style.
