The stalls in the Gdańsk Archcathedral were made by Oliwa monks in 1603 and 1604 during the reign of Abbot Dawid Konarski. They were to serve seventy monks. The stalls in the chancel have two levels. In front of the lower seats, the wall is divided into eight fields separated by Corinthian columns. Zaplecki consists of 9 fields, which are decorated with linear and floral ornaments, depicting the figures of the apostles.
