A fragment of the so-called angel door with the scene of the Annunciation made by Igor Mitoraj (1944 - 2014) in 2009 on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of the Jesuit Church in Warsaw. The doors were made of bronze at Atelier Mitoraj in Pietrasanta. The Virgin Mary was placed in the upper part of the door, and two angels on the opening wings. This work differs from the traditional Christian message, in which only the Archangel Gabriel appears before Mary. The artist made a similar bronze door for the Basilica of Our Lady of the Angels (Italian: Santa Maria degli Angeli e dei Martiri) in Rome.
