Triangular in shape, black and white. On the obverse, at the centre, is a half-profile portrait of Stalin wearing a military uniform. The portrait is framed with ornamental decoration. At the top left is a black inscription in two lines: “Слава великому” (Glory to the Great), and on the right, in large letters: “Сталину” (Stalin).On the reverse, at the centre, is a portrait of Stalin smoking a pipe, framed with ornamental decoration. At the top is a black inscription in two lines: “Viva La Grand Stalin” (Long live the Great Stalin). Below the portrait is the date: “1879-1979”. The pennant is suspended by a cord.From 11 to 13 January 1991, the armed forces of the USSR occupied the TV Tower and the Press House. The pennant was hung on the barricades of the parliament.
