Lower half only of case, breaking apart and glass loose within it. Fragile. There is a complex design based on an oval on the reverse of the case, of which the leather is stained and worn.

Hand coloured stereo plate, known in the collection as one of "The Show Girls". Half-length portrait of a seated young woman in a lace covered high back chair. She wears a pink dress with a black lace shawl around her shoulders which falls around her lap. Also, she wears a ring on the fourth finger of her right hand, beaded bracelets on both wrists, and a beaded necklace. There is a brilliant effect on the ring, the bracelet on the left wrist, necklace and some on the crown of her head, suggesting a hair ornament. Hair is worn in a middle parting with ringlets on either side. Background is plain.

Three quarter length portrait of a seated man. Facing front, but looking to his right. A book in his right hand in an interior setting with clouds on the left. Hand coloured with gold highlights. He sits with one hand rested on his knee whilst the other rests on an armrest holding a book. A curtain on the right side falls behind his head. He is well dressed and wears a necktie.
