Copper alloyLoop. Cast sub-rectangular strip, narrower at both its ends and rolled at one end to form a circular loop of internal diameter 3.9mm, perhaps for suspension of another object. A black coating overall may suggest painting or lacquering of metalwork, as is characteristic of objects of Early Post-Medieval date. Suggested date; Post-Medieval, 1500-1600.Length: 14.4mm, Width: 5.9mm, Thickness: 1.4mm, Weight: 1.29gms.
