Foreign Minister Shimon Peres and Palestinian Authority's boss Yasser Arafat agreed Tuesday (July 4, 1995) on the most elements of the next stage of the interim agreement which will see Israelis troops pull out of the West bank towns of Jenin, Tul Karem, Nablus, A staged withdrawal from Ramallah and Bethlehem and eventually from Hebron.

Teams representing Israel and the PLO are now drafting the agreement which is to be signed by July 25, 1995 possibly at the White House. Meanwhile life in Nablus continues normally. There is the ever present pall of black smoke from tires youngsters burn in its streets forcing motorists to maneuver around them. There is the occasional whiff of tear gas Israeli soldiers fire but the IDF has already pulled out positions and observation posts.
