Thousands of visitors flocked to the city from every direction to dance, sing and march in celebration of the city's vitality and freedom. "any new recent immigrants went to Jerusalem for the first time today to see the place they have only dreamt about. Today also saw the official opening of the excavated Western Wall tunnel. Included in the presentation of the tunnel is an audio-visual film sticking the connection of Jerusalem to the history of the Jewish people. The day was also marked by no reports of violence.
