Portrait of Iosif Gall (1839-1912), known for his involvement in the national movement of Romanians from Transylvania, founding member of the Romanian National Party Moderate (1884), supporter of the Romanian Orthodox Church and numerous Romanian initiatives and institutions. Great owner, noted in the activity of Romanian banks from Transylvania as shareholder or founder. The photo taken in Elliger Ede Photographic Workshop in Budapest was given to Eliza Isac (1854-1922), the mother of the writer Emil Isac (1886-1954).
