A similar Mount in gilt metal was attributed to Gregorius Renard by Nordiska Museet (NMA.0052903_01) The hanging system is probably not original It was taken down from a wall in Peter Wessel Zapffes home in sept. 2008. The same person's lithographic portrait with a name on was hanging on the same wall. The image was based on this daguerreotype. Her name now identified.
