This record describes the detail of the measurements of the image behind the void for the watch of Ernest I, Duke of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha / The object is a case that opens to form a watch-holder. It contains four daguerreotypes, after portraits of Prince Albert by Sir William Ross; another after a painting of Duke Ernest I of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha; another after a painting of Queen Victoria by Sir William Ross; the fourth after a painting of Albert Edward, Prince of Wales, by F.X. This item probably belonged to Prince Albert.
