Half length portrait of a young woman, left elbow resting on a table, thin gold chain around neck, gold brooch at collar, bracelets. Hand tinted with gold highlights.

Noted on reverse as being 're-bound in 1975. Can be dated by the Morning Post as 17 010' (?) but this is not visible in the image - possibly referrs to a newspaper fragment found when being rebound.
