Votivmålning på trä, ema. 13,5 cm hög. Visar en häst, uma. Hästen är målad med svarta konturer, svart man och svans samt med rödbrunt. Bakgrund ljusbrun bets. Målningar av detta slag hör till den japanska folkkonsten och de är mycket vanliga i buddhisttempel och shintohelgedomar. ema betyder egentligen "hästbild". The term ema literally means 'horse picture', and though some of them actually portray horses, countless other subjects are also represented.
