Sitting monkey of moulded stonepaste covered with turquoise glaze in irregular thickness. The iridecence covers any kind of underglaze painting, but there probably was some. The animal is sitting with his knees up against the body, hands on his knees, head up, looking straight ahead. The body has been moulded with anatomic details as tail, ears and muscles on back.
