Daguerrian Jewellery: 1986-1586 - Gold locket containing a portrait of a lady with lace collar. The cover (top of the locket) has a centrally engraved initials surrounded within an oval within an oval surrounded by a grid-like radiating decoration, there is a scalloped shape going round the edges of the tray. The cover detaches from the tray via a press clasp centrally located on the right side of the tray.

Lower half only of case, breaking apart and glass loose within it. Fragile. There is a complex design based on an oval on the reverse of the case, of which the leather is stained and worn.
