Carafe. Kägelshaped, upper part of the neck slightly outwardly swung. Engraved decor A leaf stretcher at the bottom around the neck. Three festoons with a grid pattern with soft plant motifs at the “suspensions.” Four stars above each feston and a sick-sack line below. On one side, on top of the four stars a monogram “ALFD” and “1845.” Puntmark. Uncoloured clear glass. The above dimensions refer to the bottom diameter. Upper diameter: 34 mm. Inscribed in the Main Catalogue 1980. The engraving was carried out in 1845, but the cab was laid down in 1838. Function: Karaff
