The picture is included in photo albums containing pictures from the Swedish Åland expedition of 1918. The photographs are part of Ivar Holmquist’s personal archives that are preserved in the archives of the Armémuseum. Holmquist (née 1879 d. 1954.) was Lieutenant General, Chief of the Army and Member of the Academy of War Sciences. He was also an expert in the negotiations on the Åland issue at the National Council.
