The village of Upper Poșaga is documented from 1824 (Felso Podsaga) and is named Belioara from 1909. After the administrative-territorial reorganization of the adoua half of the twentieth century it bore the name of Upper Poșaga and is part of the village of Poșaga. It is located in the Cave Mountains at an altitude of over 1200 m. The houses are erected on the high ground floor of stone, made of fir wood in the technique of horizontal wreaths, have a closed trench on one of the long sides of the house and pillars carved in four edges supporting the roof made of shingles.
