wax board. Relief portrait in profile (chest image), made in brick red wax. Imagines the Danish King Kristian II (1481-1559). Framed in a round, profiled and black lacquered wooden frame with a round, convex glass plate over the portrait itself. On the back, paper was pasted with explanatory text about Kristian II and at the bottom the manufacturer’s name and address: “A. Salmson. Accommodation at Mynttorget. The House No 1.” Suspension ring in brass.
