Meeting at the Erez Checkpoint at the entrance to the gaza Strip, the two leaders - in their 9th public meeting - took several steps: to hand over the administrative powers in territories outside gaza and Jericho in the fields of health and taxation; to allow more Palestinian workers to enter Israel; to allow a freer flow of Palestian goods. Education will be transferred to palestian control in September 1994. Outside the meeting, palestinain women demonstrated for the return of their sons and husbands from Israeli prisons.
