US President Bill Clinton wound up his trip to Israel October 28, 1994 - as he approached the end of his whirlwind 6-country Middle East visit saying: "I leave Israel redoubled in the support of the American people for the people of Israel, redoubled in my determination to continue until we have a comprehensive peace". On a more personal note the President said :" It was a wonderful visit. I have deep respect for the reception given us by the people here". Pres. Clinton was a guest of honour at Knesset where addressed the audience:" Let us say to the merchants of terror, you cannot succeed, You are the past not the fututre. The peacemakers are the future". He reaffirmed his ever-strong commitment to Israel in the words of his pastor:"If you abandon Israel, God will never forgive youײ It is God's will that israel, the biblical home of the people of Israel, will continue forever and ever.
