More young recruits joined the IDF in this month's induction than ever before in Israel's history. This month's induction is usually the biggest of the year as it coincides with the end of the school year. Included in the thousands of soldiers who have joined the army so far this month were over 200 Arab, Druze and Circassian recruits. The Chief of the General Staff Rav Aluf Ehud Barak visited the induction centre today to meet with the recruits and some of the parents and friends who had comee to see them off.
