`Ali wrenches the door from the fortress of Qamus, from the Garden of Purity (Rawzat al-safa), by Mir Khvand. Mir Khvand describes the early conquests of the Muslims, including this victory over the Jewish fortress of Qamus, which concluded the battle of Khaybar in 628. The Prophet Muhammad watches from the right, as his son-in-law `Ali ibn Abi Talib pulls the door from the fortress, and uses it as a shield.
