Dellbeck, Johan
The picture has been taken in connection with the cultural historical characterization of Tolfta Church, Tolfta parish, Uppland 2007. The church room is strongly marked by the well-preserved lime paintings on walls and arches. The vault paintings have never been overcalmed and are among the best preserved paintings throughout Uppland. The paintings are attributed to the Tierps Group. However, the murals were limed over the year 1802 but were reproduced in the 1800s when they were largely repainted after the old paintings were limed. The arches are also walled with intricate rib patterns.
