A cast copper-alloy miniature cauldron of Medieval to post-Medieval date.The cauldron has a bag-shaped body with flat underside and a rim that angles inwards from the circular opening. A pair of angular handles extend across the transition between the rim and the body. Originally, there were three legs, although only two survive intact. They are arranged in a triangular formation, angling outwards and terminating in a moulded foot. The artefact measures 16.5mm high, up to 18.7mm wide and weighs 6.96g.Numerous examples of miniature domestic utensils have been found in London (see Egan and Forsyth 2005).
