A complete, corroded and pitted Early Bronze Age cast copper-alloy miniature flat axehead (c. 2350 BC-c. 1600 BC).This axehead is sub-triangular in plan and pointed-oval in side view. In plan it has a symmetrical rounded butt and an asymmetrical cutting edge. From the butt end the sides flare evenly to the cutting edge.In side view, the sides flare from the butt to mid-way along it length. The sides then taper to the cutting edge.This axehead is drab green and is corroded overall.Height: 60.2mm; width: 22.0mm; thickness: 8.9mm.
