Medieval or early post medieval miniature copper alloy cauldron, 23mm high, 23mm wide and 16mm thick, with a weight of 13.36grams.The object is complete and is circular in section and rectangular in form. It consists of a rounded bowl with two thick, triangular shaped lugs at each side of the bowl, sitting just below the outward turned rim. The cauldron has three integral circular sectioned curved legs, which are as long as the bowl.Numerous examples of miniature domestic utensils have been found in London (see Egan and Forsyth 2005). The London examples of cauldrons (ibid. 111-115) date from the 14th to 17th centuries. see also LEIC-E24E74
